Sam Rowlands MS

Sam Rowlands, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is urging young people in Wrexham to have their say on issues which affect them.

Mr Rowlands is supporting Wrexham’s Youth Parliament’s online survey for 11-25 year olds asking  them to share their views.

Mr Rowlands, who is a keen supporter of encouraging young people to get involved in politics and learning more about democracy in Wales said:

I am pleased to see Wrexham Council running the Voices Make Change campaign which encourages our young people to get more involved in decision making in their communities.

It is a great idea and will hopefully also lead to more people finding out more about the Welsh Parliament and the work which is carried out there.

I think it is so important that children and young people learn more about politics and the Welsh Youth Parliament, and I would urge 11-25 year olds to take part in the survey.

Voice Make Change is the Wrexham’s Youth Parliament’s way of making sure as many young people as possible are involved in decision-making.

Wrexham Council’s participation team are asking young people to make their voices heard by taking part in the online survey.

The surveys will take place every two months and the more young people who take part, the more accurate, reliable, and representative the results will be – meaning they can focus their work on what is most important.

This time around, the survey focusses on literacy and will explore young people’s views on reading and developing literacy skills.

It’s available on this Voices Make Change link tree survey page, where you will find the link to the Voices Make Change questions; answer the questions and then press submit.

The survey is live now until March 14, 2026 but if you would like any further information contact [email protected].

Sam Rowlands AS yn cefnogi arolwg sy'n annog pobl ifanc i rannu eu barn

Mae Sam Rowlands, Aelod o’r Senedd dros Ogledd Cymru, yn annog pobl ifanc yn Wrecsam i ddweud eu dweud ar faterion sy'n effeithio arnyn nhw.

Mae Mr Rowlands yn cefnogi arolwg ar-lein Senedd Ieuenctid Wrecsam ar gyfer pobl ifanc 11-25 oed yn gofyn iddyn nhw rannu eu barn.

Meddai Mr Rowlands, sy'n frwdfrydig iawn dros annog pobl ifanc i gymryd rhan mewn gwleidyddiaeth a dysgu mwy am ddemocratiaeth yng Nghymru:

Rwy'n falch o weld Cyngor Wrecsam yn cynnal yr ymgyrch Lleisiau’n Creu Newid sy'n annog ein pobl ifanc i gymryd mwy o ran yn y broses o wneud penderfyniadau yn eu cymunedau.

Mae'n syniad gwych a gobeithio y bydd hefyd yn arwain at fwy o bobl yn dysgu mwy am y Senedd a'r gwaith sy'n cael ei wneud yno.

Rwy'n credu ei bod mor bwysig bod plant a phobl ifanc yn dysgu mwy am wleidyddiaeth a Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru, a byddwn yn annog pobl ifanc 11-25 oed i gymryd rhan yn yr arolwg.

Lleisiau’n Creu Newid yw ffordd Senedd Ieuenctid Wrecsam o sicrhau bod cymaint o bobl ifanc â phosibl yn cymryd rhan yn y broses o wneud penderfyniadau.

Mae tîm cyfranogiad Cyngor Wrecsam yn gofyn i bobl ifanc sicrhau bod eu lleisiau yn cael eu clywed drwy gymryd rhan yn yr arolwg ar-lein.

Bydd yr arolygon yn cael eu cynnal bob deufis a pho fwyaf o bobl ifanc sy'n cymryd rhan, y mwyaf cywir, dibynadwy a chynrychiadol fydd y canlyniadau - sy'n golygu y gall y Cyngor ganolbwyntio ei waith ar yr hyn sydd bwysicaf.

Y tro hwn, mae'r arolwg yn canolbwyntio ar lythrennedd a bydd yn archwilio barn pobl ifanc ar ddarllen a datblygu sgiliau llythrennedd.

Mae ar gael ar y dudalen arolwg Linktree Lleisiau’n Creu Newid, lle gallwch ddod o hyd i'r ddolen i'r cwestiynau Lleisiau’n Gwneud Newid; atebwch y cwestiynau ac yna pwyswch gyflwyno.

Mae'r arolwg yn fyw o nawr tan Fawrth 14, 2026 ond os hoffech chi gael rhagor o wybodaeth cysylltwch â [email protected].
