The Welsh Government are planning new taxes for tourism businesses which will damage the North Wales economy, putting up to 140,000 jobs at risk. I re-started the Cross-Party Group on Tourism to give businesses a voice and challenge dangerous proposals threatening 84% of Welsh self-catering businesses. Over the next few years I will continue to work with local people to champion all that North Wales's thriving tourism sector has to offer.

Mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn bwriadu cyflwyno trethi newydd ar gyfer busnesau twristiaeth a fydd yn niweidio economi Gogledd Cymru, gan roi hyd at 140,000 o swyddi mewn perygl. Rwyf wedi ailddechrau’r Grŵp Trawsbleidiol ar Dwristiaeth er mwyn rhoi llais i fusnesau a herio cynigion peryglus sy’n bygwth 84% o fusnesau hunanddarpar Cymru. Dros y blynyddoedd nesaf byddaf yn parhau i weithio gyda phobl leol i hyrwyddo popeth sydd gan sector twristiaeth llewyrchus y Gogledd i’w gynnig.
